Dit stikstof expansiesysteem (HP) kan alleen gebruikt worden voor toepassing op een PED goedgekeurde expansievoorziening welke de expansie opvangt voor bijv. een horizontale buffertank of een geothermische expansieopvang. Het stikstof expansiesysteem draagt zorg voor een “stikstofkussen” boven in de expansievoorziening. De wensdruk wordt ingesteld op bijv. 1 bar (hogere drukken mogelijk). Het is nodig om stikstof boven in de warmteopslagtank te
voorzien om te voorkomen dat het water lucht opneemt. Kortom, de stikstof is bedoeld als een water-luchtscheiding.
Het SOTEX stikstof expansiesysteem is een uitkomst in gevallen dat de reguliere expansieautomaten met balg niet meer toegepast kunnen worden, denk aan bijvoorbeeld hoge mediumtemperaturen (>120 graden Celsius).

Nitromat Pro HP
The Sotex Nitromat Pro HP nitrogen expansion system generally consists of a Nitromat Pro nitrogen generator, a compressor, and a nitrogen storage tank. It is often supplemented with a PED-approved buffer tank where the expansion water is collected, topped with the nitrogen pressure from the Sotex nitrogen expansion system. With an operating pressure of 1 to 2 bar (optionally adjustable), this constitutes a pressurized system.
The Nitromat Pro HP series consists of highly reliable nitrogen generators, is energy-efficient, and delivers a purity of 99% nitrogen or more. The Nitromat Pro HP is the standard version in the product range, equipped with highly reliable components from global brands, effective compressed air treatment, an oil/water separator, and Siemens PLC control. The Sotex Nitromat Pro HP nitrogen generators are built in accordance with the European CE PED directive and are usually applied to PED-approved buffer tanks used as expansion containment. For example, in systems with high medium temperatures (> 120 °C), this is an ideal system compared to regular automatic expansion units.
An intelligent and user-friendly Siemens control system regulates the pressure of the nitrogen cushion in the heat storage tank and monitors the water content. This ensures optimal pressure regulation, safety, and protection for your heating system. Naturally, we can also provide the desired information for application to your system via the Modbus TCP/IP communication module.
